Welcome to New York “The Big Apple”. Upon arrival at the airport, you will be transferred to the hotel. This evening, explore this exciting city on your own. Overnight in New York.
Today, enjoy the city tour of New York. Proceed on a half day guided tour of Upper and Lower Manhattan. You will see Times Square, Madison Square Garden, the Empire State Building, Greenwich Village, Little Italy, Chinatown, Soho, the Statue of Liberty and Battery Park, Wall Street, South Street Seaport, the United Nations Building and the Rockefeller Centre. Drive past the Lincoln Centre, Central Park and Strawberry Fields, the Museum of Natural History, before stopping for a brief visit to St John the Divine, the largest gothic cathedral in the world. Then, hop on to a ferry to Liberty Island from Battery Park to get a close view of the majestic Statue of Liberty. Later in the evening, you have free time to explore the streets of Manhattan. Arrive Philadelphia – Today we proceed by train to Philadelphia. Check into the hotel and relax. Later today take a hop-on hop-off tour. Philadelphia is the nation’s most historical city but it offers so much more with its flourishing art scene, many great restaurants and more than anything, its friendly people. Philadelphia means “the City of Brotherly Love” in Greek, and that’s exactly what it is. We can then proceed towards the Philadelphia Museum of arts, this museum has perhaps the most dramatic location of any in the world being situated on a hill at the end of the Benjamin Franklin Parkway overlooking the Schuylkill. The building was constructed of a golden colour stone in the 1920s and recalls the architecture of ancient Greece. Alas, the installation of elaborate multicolour sculpture for the triangular pediments was cut short by the Great Depression. You can also check the Harley Davidson bikes and get a test ride. Arrive Washington DC – Today, take a coach to Washington DC, Capital of the United States of America. Upon arrival make your own way to the hotel and check in. Later in the afternoon, proceed for a hop on hop off tour of the capital city. Hop on the bus and discover the beauty and majesty of Washington D.C. The tour covers Washington’s major attractions such as the Lincoln Memorial, Georgetown, Washington National Cathedral, the White House, the museums of the Smithsonian Institution and Vietnam Veteran’s Memorial, Pentagon building and Washington Monument. Arrive Harrisburg – Today, you will drive and continue your journey towards Harrisburg. Visit the Civil war Museum of arts, Capitol building, State Museum etc. Check in to your hotel and relax. Overnight in Harrisburg. (B)
Arrive Niagara Falls – This morning, proceed to the Mall of Prussia, where you will see every kind of store and then experience the different things that are offered in each store. Later on head towards the airport for your flight to Buffalo. Upon arrival at Buffalo airport proceed to Niagara, the town of the world famous falls. Check in to your hotel and relax. In the evening, you can visit the falls on your own to see the stunning illuminations. See the American Falls, Bridal Veil Falls and part of the Horse Shoe Falls separating the American and Canadian side of the falls. Enjoy the falls by getting up, close and personal on board the Maid of the Mist cruise. You have the rest of the day free at leisure or opt for some retail therapy or just soak up the natural beauty of the surroundings. Overnight in Niagara Falls. (B)
